I chose to take photos of a tea set because my family loves to drink iced or hot tea. I set up the first photo so that it looked like the pot was pouring into tipped over cups. I did this because it also drew more interest than taking photos of a plain set up tea set. I messed with different angles for the other photos to try and draw interest, and to show the flower pattern through the different stages of artistic filters.

Everybody likes to eat different fruits for breakfast, lunch and dinner, so I picked out three of them to photograph. I liked the idea in the first image of a smaller fruit holding up a bigger, heavier one. I tried doing a generic still life set up, of the fruits in a bowl, but I didn't like the turn out so I set it up as if it were in a bowl. I also worked with balancing to make the images a little more appealing.

Besides fruits, one of my favorite things to eat for breakfast is crepes. I took photos of my favorite combination, strawberries, whip cream, and chocolate sauce. I tried to make the photos look interesting by messing with the artistic filters and using different camera angles. Even though the crepe is stacked in all the photos, by using different angles and filters, it turned them into whole other images.

Whether it be in cookies, or cocoa, chocolate is a must in the family. I tried to set up the chocolate in different patterns, but when I ran out of ideas, I tossed them on the floor (picture 3) and photographed it that way. Besides running out of ideas, it was hard to get the right lighting, because of the bumpy surfaces, and the brightness of the light.

We love drawing and coloring at home. I saved markers for last because I felt like they were the best images. I tried many different techniques by zooming in, or getting a shot overhead. When I was using the plastic wrap filter, I was worried for the other ones because it took away attention and made it messy, but with the curves of the markers, it highlighted them to make an interesting and appealing piece.
